Caleb sharpened their political communication and media relations skills through work in the U.S. House of Representatives and political campaign firms. A proud Texan, they gained an in-depth education in Texas politics through work for attorney Steve Mostyn and Senator Judith Zaffirini (D-Laredo). Caleb served in the D.C. press shop of Congressman Marc Veasey (D-Tex.), before joining STG. Their work has been featured in a number of state news and political press, local TV, national/beltway print, and regional radio shows.

They grew up in Chandler, Texas – a small, one-stoplight town in rural East Texas before attending the University of Texas at Austin in the heart of the Lone Star State. They earned a B.A. in Government and a B.A. in Middle Eastern Studies with a minor in Arabic and Liberal Arts Honors.

Their interests include all things related to the Middle East and North Africa, LGBTQ inclusion, and access to quality, affordable healthcare. When they’re not on the clock, you can probably find Caleb reading the latest political biography or queer action novel, exercising, or cooking in their kitchen.
