Kelly Rimar

Communications Assistant

Kelly Rimar is a Communications Assistant at STG. She is passionate about progressive politics, and is proud to support the work of leaders and organizations active in this space. Kelly spends most of her time working with the health care team at STG, but can be found working on projects with the public lands and environmental teams as well. 

A proud Seattle native, Kelly earned a Bachelor's in Political Science from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, CA, before completing her Masters in Public Administration at American University in May 2019. She has a background in reproductive health policy, and has worked for progressive organizations like the Center for American Progress. 

Kelly spends her free time enjoying DC's wonderful restaurants, and relaxing at home with her beloved cat, Millie.
